US: Key Safety Systems acquired by management board and Crestview Partners

COMPONENTS supplier Key Safety Systems has been acquired by private equity firm Crestview Partners, in partnership with the management board of Key Safety. Sir Nick Scheele, former president and chief operating officer of Ford and chairman of Ford Europe, will join the company as chairman of the new board. Key Safety Systems' financial advisor was Morgan Stanley, while its legal advisor was Weil, Gotshal & Manges. Crestview's financial advisors were Citi and Bear, Stearns & Co, and its legal advisor was Davis Polk & Wardwell.
