US: PPG evaluates alternatives for automotive glass segments

PPG Industries is reportedly evaluating the future of its plants, according to newspaper Altoona Mirror. Jack Maurer, spokesman for PPG, said that the company is considering all alternatives, including acquisitions, restructure, forming strategic alliances and divestiture, for its automotive OEM glass and automotive replacement glass segments.
