Hungary: Linamar to delist its subsidiary

LINAMAR is planning to delist shares of its Hungarian subsidiary after it acquires 75% of the unit's common stock, Reuters reports. Linamar, which currently owns 68% of Linamar Hungary through subsidiaries, has re-filed its public purchase bid with the Financial Services Authority after it rejected the original offer due to technicalities, the newswire noted. Linamar Hungary's board and unions have advised shareholders to accept the offer.
