China: Air International plans expansion

AIR International (Shanghai) will open a plant on Hainan Island, southern China, in January 2008, near its major customer, FAW Haima Automobile, Automotive News China has reported. The report states that the new plant will supply heat-exchanger cores, condensers and radiators for FAW Haima's Mazda cars, the Familia and Premacy. The plant is also expected to supply a new FAW Haima car called the H1, production of which will start in October 2007.
