Marcegaglia to acquire Outokumpu’s longsteel production assets

Italy’s Marcegaglia Steel Group has signed an agreement with Finnish stainless steelmaker Outokumpu under which the former will acquire the majority of Outokumpu’s stainless-steel long products division for €228 million ($228.74 million). The transaction will be executed as a share sale.
