According to news reporting from Beijing, People's Republic of China, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, “The Hubi copper (cobalt) ore district, one of the largest typical examples of the sediment-hosted stratiform type in the Zhongtiao Mountain area, is located on the southern margin of the Trans-North China Orogen within the North China Craton (NCC) and has a copper reserve of 0.79 Mt. Mineralization is mainly hosted by the Zhongtiao Group, a sequence of metasedimentary rocks deposited from 2168 Ma to 2059 Ma.”
