2022 APR 07 (NewsRx) - By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Mining & Minerals Daily Daily - Investigators discuss new findings in Mineralogy. According to news reporting out of Liaoning, People's Republic of China, by NewsRx editors, research stated, “The interface bonding and thermal conductivity (TC) of carbon fibers (Cfs) reinforced aluminum matrix (Cf/Al) composites worsen with the easy oxidation and shedding of the Cfs surface Cu coating during preparation. In this work, a Sn-Cu coating was used to replace the Cu coating to improve the composite's interface and TC.”
