According to news reporting originating from Beijing, People's Republic of China, by NewsRx correspondents, research stated, “Large-scale DZ466 superalloy tube-like cast aBemblies were designed to mimic the variable croB section and hollow structure of industry gas turbine (IGT) turbine blades. By combined computational simulation and unidirectional solidification experiments, the temperature fields, solidification proceB, and microstructure of the casts were studied.” Financial supporters for this research include National Major Science and Technology Projects of China, National Natural Science Foundation of China.
