EKPC finalizes some back-half ‘18 deliveries

East Kentucky Power Cooperative has finalizedcoal deliveries for the balance of 2018, accordingto documents filed with the Kentucky PublicService Commission:Jamieson Construction, London, Ky., is supplyingby truck 30,000 tons to the Cooper Power Station,Burnside, Ky., from Aug. 1 through Oct. 31. The coalis sourced from the Right Fork Surface Mine in BellCounty, Ky. Required “as received” coal specs are toinclude not less than 12,200 Btu/lb., no more than 8%moisture and 12% ash, with as-received sulfur contentcomputed as not more than 1.98%. Price is set FOBCooper station at 306.11 cents/MMBtu.
