Electron Transfer Reactivity of Organometallic Compounds Involving Radical-Forming Noninnocent Ligands

Abstract The potential of organometallics for radical reactivity is documented for compounds containing redox-active ligands. The diversity of organometallic redox systems with noninnocent ligands will be presented in a brief survey, covering reaction mechanisms, the identification of stable intermediates, and an outline of some synthetic applications.
