Commerce sets prelim CV duties on Al sheet

The United States’ Department of Commerce made an affirmative preliminary determination in its countervailing duty investigation into common alloy sheet imports from Bahrain, Brazil, India and Turkey on Monday August 10. Commerce has set the preliminary subsidy rates for Bahrain at 9.49%, Brazil at 0.76-1.32%, India at 4.55-34.84% and Turkey at 0.07-3.15%. Commerce is expected to issue its final countervailing duty determinations on December 21, but that deadline could be delayed, according to Commerce.
