US: Delphi to demonstrate single integrated camera with multiple safety enhancements

AT the 2007 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Delphi will demonstrate a single integrated CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor) camera providing for multiple safety enhancements. According to Delphi, the approach provides a scalable architecture allowing for a customised feature set using common hardware for vehicle manufacturers. A single camera is said to simplify vehicle packaging while providing multi-system functionality. It also eliminates standalone products competing for limited windshield space.
