Hungary: Modine to build second manufacturing facility

MODINE'S board of directors has approved a US$12m investment to build an 83,000sq-ft facility in Fuzesabony, Hungary. This unit, the company's second facility in Hungary, will support increasing demand for aluminium heat transfer products from customers such as Caterpillar, Volvo, Nacco and AGCO in Europe. The factory will work in co-operation with Modine's existing facility in nearby Mezokovesd, Hungary. The new plant, which is expected to begin operations in early 2008, will receive government-supported tax incentives.
