US: Accuride invests in aluminium business

ACCURIDE Corporation has announced plans to invest around US$25m in its aluminium wheel business. The company will use the investment to procure two new state-of-the-art hydraulic presses and to make other improvements to its facilities and equipment. Accuride has tentatively decided to locate the new press cells in Erie, Pennsylvania. The company is expected to install the press cells late this year, with both becoming operational by the first quarter of 2008.
