US: Dana completes sale of trailer axle manufacturing assets

BANKRUPT automotive components supplier Dana has said it has completed the sale of its trailer axle manufacturing assets to Hendrickson USA, a subsidiary of The Boler Company, and its affiliates for US$31m subject to inventory adjustments at closing. Dana first announced plans to sell the business early last autumn. The US and Canadian assets of Dana include trailer axle production equipment, inventory and related assets at facilities in Lugoff, South Carolina and Barrie, Ontario.
