China: Delphi to supply safety equipment to Chery

DELPHI has been awarded contracts to supply safety equipment and electronics to Chery Automobile from 2009, according to Reuters. The supplier did not provide the value of the contracts. Delphi will supply safety equipment including airbags and the electronics to control them. It will provide sensors to detect side and frontal impacts and allow airbags to inflate depending on the seat occupant's size.
