Meetings in Israel leave the HSE with a new minster

The HSE must answer to a new government minister. Sarah Newton was appointed minister of state at the Department for Work and Pensions on 9 November. Newton replaces Penny Mordaunt, who took over from Priti Patel as secretary of state for international development after the latter "resigned" following a series of unauthorised meetings in Israel. Newton was formerly an under secretary of state at the Home Office.
