Last winter, members of the community workforce, including health visitors and district nurses, were invited to take part for the first time in a programme of research into NHS staff attitudes that was by that point in its fifth wave.The NHS Staff Attitudes Tracking survey is conducted twice each year on behalf of the Central Office of Information and Department of Health (DH) to explore:Staff morale and satisfactionUnderstanding of and support for changes to the NHSAwareness of and views on policy areas such as choice, GP commissioing, Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention (QIPP) and Transforming Community Services (TCS).
