School Nurse 121 Campaign

Commissioning school nursing services is becoming a distinct reality for us all now, so we must step up the campaign. The goal is quite clear - we need commissioners to commit to one qualified school nurse per secondary school, and one more per cluster of primaries. As I mentioned in last month's issue of CP, the picture is variable across the country. This weekend I posted a report on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/cphva) from the BBC about an increase in the numbers of school nurses in Cumbria, and within a few hours over 600 people had seen it, such is the desperation for good news!
