Belarus to revise Gazprom contract

Belarus wants to revise Russia contract with Russian giant Gazprom in the hopes of fixing this year's gas supplies at 2009 prices of around $150/1,000 cu m, an executive at Belarus' state-owned Beltransgaz said. "We are counting on the 2010 gas price being formulated on the level of last year and [to] stand on average for the year at $150/1,000 cu m," Beltransgaz General Director Vladimir Mayorov told a press conference in Minsk, as reported by Belarus' state-owned newswire BelTA.
