Ideas in Chemistry and Molecular Sciences: Where Chemistry Meets Life

摘要

Selected researchers who participated in the European Young Chemist Award 2008 were invited to contribute chapters for this book. With author representation from nine countries - Denmark, England, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Scotland, Spain and Switzerland -the book draws together research from several renowned laboratories within Europe under a 'Chemistry Meets Life' theme. There are a further two volumes (not considered here) under the Ideas in Chemistry and Molecular Science title: one concerns advances in 'synthetic chemistry' and the other in 'nanotechnology, materials and devices'.
