PetroChina sends first hydrogen for refilling stations in Beijing.

On Dec.8,the Chinese oil giant's subsidiary Huabei Petrochemical,which operates a 10MM-mt/y(200K-b/d)refinery in northern China,shipped out the first hydrogen cargo to PetroChina's refilling stations in Beijing to serve its customers.The hydrogen was produced from a unit that can purify 500 m~3/h of hydrogen produced as refinery byproduct.The use of carbon capture and utilization allows the production to be considered low-carbon,"blue"hydrogen.
