At the world market of pigment titanium dioxide, Ukraine is represented by two producers: OJSC SumyKhimProm (1 percent) and CJSC Crimean TITAN (some 2 percent). High quality of the product makes CJSC Crimean TITAN Ukraine's worthy representative at the global market for titanium dioxide: the company's output is sold in 58 countries worldwide. For over thirty years, Crimean TITAN has been successfully working on the market of titanium dioxide production and is the largest and key producer of the article in Eastern Europe. 50 percent - 1 share in CJSC Crimean TITAN belong to RSJ Erste Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH (Germany), which invested USD 110 mn into the enterprise. The main commercial output of the company is pigment titanium dioxide of ruthile form made by sulfate or vitriolic technology. It accounts for around 90 percent of gross sales volume.
