Southern Water, with the help of Barhale Trant Utilities, has replaced one of its tallest screens. The ￡250,000 screen was installed at Southern's East Worthing treatment works, which treats more than 30 million litres of wastewater daily and in excess of 71 million litres during wet weather. The replacement is part of an ongoing maintenance programme at the site, with one of the two screens being replaced every year. Once removed, the old screen is cleaned up, refurbished and kept as a spare. The best captions will be published in the October 2016 issue of WET News.
