Teodorin Obiang summoned to Paris court on 20 April for embezzlement case

Equatorial Guinea vice-president and defence minister Teodorin Obiang Nguema has been summoned to appear in court in Paris on 20 April in the latest episode of the long-running so-called "ill-gotten gains" affair. Equatorial Guinean authorities, advised by lawyers Rachida Dati and Kevin Grossman, are trying to reopen the case. The summons has been sent, but there is little chance that President Teodoro Obiang Nguema's son will turn up in court.
