The plot thickens: More Embryonic Deformities

There have been six identified incidents involving the illness, death or deformity of fish over the past three years. Gwen Gilson and her staff have collected strong circumstantial evidence that the incidents occurred in association with the sprayingof agricultural chemicals on a neighbouring macadamia nut farm. Her neighbours have also recorded deaths and deformities in goldfish, livestock and poultry. The Interim Report #1, released in June this year, covers the findings of the Taskforce over theprevious four months and the initial findings from the Scientific Sub-committee attached to the Taskforce. Its findings are frustratingly inconclusive, however, it concedes that the evidence examined to date 'does not necessarily rule out any possible impact from a chemical'.
