The Nuts and Bolts of Drum Filter Installation

Microscreen drum filters are now commonly used in aquaculture facilities for removing solids from the culture water. In recirculation systems they have become one of the preferred methods for removing solids because they provide fully-automatic, uninterrupted filtration with low operating head, and backwash water requirements. They are also used in both influent and effluent treatment systems for removing particulates, and for pre-filtration, prior to disinfection.
