More standardization needed in the ,arine hatchery sector

Marine fish hatcheries are still in a relatively early stage of development and because of that have paradoxical characteristics that may surprise an outsider. The main contradiction is the contrast between the complexity and technology involved in producing marine fish (and shellfish) species and the lack of standardization. This lack of standardization is visible from almost any angle, from the way production happens, to the way industry suppliers interact with it, and even in the way fry customers react to the final product.
