Justin Wilkens, Manager of the North Mississippi Fish Hatchery in Enid, not only has his hands full dealing with many different kinds of fish for the state's Department of Wildlife, Fish and Parks, he has to keep track of the many local names for thefish as well. Wilkens, who is new to the area, said "I'd never heard so many different names for fish. People don't only use the term 'bream' a lot down here for bluegill and red-ear, they also use things like papermouth' for crappie, and white perch' isalso used for crappie."
