USAF: Boeing To Begin KC-46 RVS 1.5 Flight Tests In Two Weeks

Boeing will begin flying the KC-46A Pegasus aircraft in approximately two weeks outfitted with Remote Vision System (RVS) 1.5, a revised version of the refueling tanker’s camera system that includes numerous software changes and a few hardware updates. The U.S. Air Force has an RVS 1.5 variant in its “hardware-in-the-loop simulator” so the service’s scientists can conduct their own testing, Air Force acquisition executive Will Roper told reporters June 10.
