HONDA FIT EV: electric with No Excuses

Stereotypes are hard to break, especially with car buyers who lock onto one experience and require electric shock treatments to change their mindset. Such was the case, to some degree, with my feeling toward electric vehicles because of experiences with EVs in the 1990s. Having driven GM's EV1 and other electrics back then, I enjoyed the opportunities but also thought of these cars as less than purposeful daily drivers. They were fun but also impractical for my longer driving needs. And as for their performance, well...good for electric cars but not so much compared to fun-to-drive, conventionally-powered competitors.
