Further decrease in freight rates for grain transportation ex shallow AzovSea ports (Russian Azov Sea CFI has sagged by $0.43/t) has been offset by slight growth in rates for 8-12,000 dwt vessels in the BlackSea region (BlSea CFI has inched up by $0.08/t, Ukrainian Azov Sea CFI by $0.18/t). Daily earnings for both sea-river ships and smalldwt seagoing vessels have stepped down further due to a $10-20/t increase in bunker fuel prices. Only the TCE for up to 8-12,000 dwtmini-bulkers has risen by around $200/day in the Black Sea region.
