Global CFI has inched down by $0.02/t in mid-June due to another slight decrease in freight rates in the Black Sea ($0.03/t down)and the Far East ($0.11/t down). The freight rates are steadily low in other regions. The reduction of bunker prices ($20-40/t down overthe week) has become the only positive factor for the owners of fleet. ISM Commodity Index has remained largely stable. The owners ofsmall dwt vessels may hardly expect any improvement in the spot market after June 20.
