Global CFI has sagged by another $0.07/t in late June given lower freight rates in the BlSea ($0.17/t down), the Azov Sea($0.06/t down), the North Baltic ($0.09/t down) and the Far East ($0.12/t down). Global ISM Commodity Index has edged downby 0.5 points over the week. Prices for steel scrap and ammonium nitrate have showed a slight upgrowth, although demand forCIS-origin scrap is extremely weak in Turkey. Prices for grain of the new harvest have stabilized. The owners of fleet should hardlyexpect any increase in cargo offer and corresponding freight rates in July. Despite the end of Ramadan, demand for finished andsemi-finished steel products remains weak in Turkey and North African countries.
