Cerence, the publicly traded company created by Nuance’s spin-off of its automotive business, introduced Cognitive Arbitrator, an AI-powered product that makes it easy to build in-car voice systems that coexist with a variety of virtual assistants. Through a single voice-enabled interface, the Arbitrator removes the complexity of which assistant should execute a given task, giving users flexibility in their usage of assistants and letting carmakers maintain their brand experience and data ownership. Cerence is working with Microsoft to integrate its products with Microsoft’s Connected Vehicle Platform.
