Radar-based In-cabin Monitoring Demonstrated at CES 2020

Leaving an unattended child in a parked car, even for a few minutes, can cause heatstroke and death. To respond to this safety concern, in 2022 Euro NCAP will begin rewarding carmakers that make child presence detection systems standard equipment in their vehicles. PathPartner’s solution mounts a radar sensor in the headliner that is able to detect and identify children or pets left behind in a car.
