Global CFI has added another $0.29/t after October 15 despite a shift on the Azov Sea market, where sea-river rates have showeda decline for the first time since the start of autumn ($0.89/t down). However, the decrease in the Azov Sea index was more thanoffset by ongoing strengthening of the Black Sea market (a $1.2/t rates hike over the week). Moreover, the rates have increased inthe Mediterranean Sea (EMed CFI has risen by $0.44/t and WMed CFI by $0.16/t) given brisker cargo flow from the Black Sea region.In addition, coaster owners manage to raise the rates in the Baltic region (Gulf of Finland CFI has grown by $0.69/t, Lower Baltic CFI by$0.47/t). Meanwhile, there is a continuing lull in the North Sea.
