Lack of fresh cargo offers in the Azov Sea spot market still prevents sea-river owners from stabilizing freight rates for shipments fromRostov, Azov, Taganrog and Yeisk. Most grain charterers now offer $25.5-26/t for shipment of 3,000 t of wheat from Azov/Rostov tothe Marmara Sea, but some of them enter the market with only $25/t in hands.
