Fleet Monitoring for High Driver Assistance Test Coverage

摘要

The applied approach enables faster coverage analysis and performance investigation across all fleet vehicles. The maximum of information from every driven kilometer is extracted without time-intensive raw data analysis. In addition, data enrichment via information from on-line channels and high definition maps improve the value of test campaigns without putting cost-intensive equipment into the fleet vehicles. Following the client/ server pattern and providing content via API-based backend services over a web frontend, data and information can be served to a wide range of stakeholders in a consistent state. This interactive fleet optimization process helps increase efficiency in three ways. First, the co-driver can be substituted by the driver guidance app in the vehicle. Second, the automated performance evaluation of dynamic scenarios significantly saves data analysis effort. Third, the targeted coverage rate can be reliably achieved by continuously adjusting route segments of the fleet.
