Jan-Aug 2021 handling updates at Mariupol port

The Ukrainian Sea Port of Mariupol handled 4.47 million tonnes of cargoes during the period started January 1 and ended August 31, 2021, down 4 per cent compared with the same period of 2020. The handling volume of export cargoes amounted to 4.19 million tonnes in January-August 2021, which is 108.2 per cent of the y-o-y result of 2020 averaging to 3.87 million tonnes. The port processed 278,220 tonnes of import cargoes during the period under review, which is 66.2 per cent of the figure of January-August 2020 totaling 426,460 tonnes.
