The Global CFI has surged by $2.97/t due to steady increases of freight rates in the Mediterranean Sea ($3.16/t up) and especially in North Europe where the Gulf of Finland CFI has added $5.15/t and the Lower Baltic CFI has jumped up by $6.18/t. The owners of sea-river vessels have managed to achieve a $0.93/t growth in Azov Sea freights. The Black Sea is the only region where the situation can be called more or less stable.
