During the two-week holiday period, the Global CFI has sagged by almost $0.97/t, which, however, is a typical picture for earlyJanuary. Trade has slowed down slightly in all regions. As a result, the BlSea CFI has dropped by $1.12/t, the Med CFI by $0.84/t, the Gulfof Finland CFI by $1.58/t, and the Lower Baltic CFI by $1.51/t. Only the sea-river rates hold steady in the Azov Sea.
