Pace of trade expectedly declined in Black Sea coaster sector

Trade has slowed down on the Black Sea freight market, which is quite typical for the New Year and Christmas holiday period inthe region. However, the decline in cargo flow does not look critical, partly as many charterers failed to ship cargoes in late Dec andpostponed these shipments to Jan. A noticeable shortage of open vessels is seen only in the 8-12k dwt segment.
