The shortage of spot vessels seen in the Black Sea last week turned into a real market excitement amid large number of cargo offers.Charterers are quite actively offering not only grain and steel products, but also aluminium, fertilizers and minerals, coal, constructioncargoes. Charterers suffer additional pressure from worsening weather in Ukraine, as well as from a noticeable increase in bunker prices.Realizing the complexity of situation, many of them increasingly enter the market with a wide range of shipload lots (for example, from3,000 t to 6,000 t or from 5,000 t to 15,000 t) in order to increase the chance of finding a vessel at acceptable rates.
