The Global CFI has grown by $0.43/t primarily due to a $2.15/t hike in sea-river rates in the Azov Sea. A slight increase is reported also in the BlSea CFI ($0.21/t up) and the Med CFI ($0.47/t up). Meanwhile, the Baltic & Continent market is stable. The picture of the commodity markets definitely looks alarming for ship owners. The ISM Commodity Index has sagged by 5 points owing to a changed trend on the grain market.
