The Global CFI has fallen by $2.23/t after Apr 25. This is primarily due to a $15.33/t slump in Azov Sea freight rates, whereas assessments and fixtures in other regions have held largely stable. Thus, the BlSea CFI has inched up by $0.1/t, the Lower Baltic CFI has sagged by $0.51/t, while both the Mediterranean CFI and the Gulf of Finland CFI have remained unchanged. The ISM Commodity Index for a coaster market has dropped by as many as 24 points amid large-scale price setbacks on all major commodity markets.
