Excise tax on crude steel to be introduced and MET rate to increase in燫ussia, income tax increase postponed

The Russian authorities and steelmakers have reached agreements on changes to the fiscal burden on the industry for the next three years. The parties have agreed on new MET rates for iron ore and coking coal, as well as the level of excise tax on crude steel. At the same time, the increase of the income tax has been postponed until further discussions.
