Grain market insight: Egypt to receive 420k tonnes of BlSea and Romanian wheat in March

On Jan 28, 2022, the Egyptian state grain board GASC finished the tender with a purchase of 420,000 tonnes of wheat. The commodity will be sourced from Ukraine, Russia and Romania. In particular, the purchase comprises 60,000 t of Ukrainian wheat, 60,000 t of Russian wheat, and 60,000 t of Romanian wheat with shipment in Mar 5-15, as well as 120,000 t of Ukrainian wheat, 60,000 t of Russian wheat and 60,000 t of Romanian wheat to be shipped in Mar 16-26, 2022.
