Get ready for ChemiSTEAM 2021

Despite the cancellation of CCCE 2020 due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, the associated ChemiSTEAM – Putting the A(rt) in STEM competition ran in virtual format. The contest was organized by Vance Williams (Simon Fraser University) and Brian Wagner (University of Prince Edward Island), and enthusiastically supported by Louise Dawe (Wilfrid Laurier University), and multiple guest judges with expertise in both science and art. Over 20 outstanding entries were submitted for the 2020 competition, challenging the judges to rank entries on the science, art, and stories behind these creations. The final choices of award-winning submissions included three top awards, and four honourable mentions. Many readers will now be familiar with these works from the outstanding blog posts by these artists/scientists. In case you missed these posts, they are linked below for your review.
