10th International Conference on Health Effects of Incorporated Radionuclides.

摘要

Seventy-eight scientists from 14 countries converged on the La Fonda Hotel in Santa Fe, NM, in May 2009, to participate in the 10th International Conference on Health Effects of Incorporated Radionuclides (HEIR 2009). This conference, the tenth in a series begun in 1974, continued the tradition of these meetings by focusing on research on the health effects of radionuclides incorporated internally in the body. Previous conferences took place in Alta, Utah (1974); Neuherberg, Germany (1976); Lisbon, Portugal (1977); Lake Geneva, Wisconsin (1981); Neuherberg (1984); Bethesda, Maryland (1988); Heidelberg, Germany (1994); Tokyo, Japan (1999); and Neuherberg (2004). Recognizing that the issues of interest change over time, the scope of this meeting is always changing to reflect the shift in focus and the nature of current research involving radionuclides.
